Suvari was in Psych in 2010 and The Cape in 2011. Suvari also had an arc of two episodes in Murder House as the Black Dahlia in the first season of the horror anthology show American Horror Story. Suvari played the role of the psychotic assistant of the photographer's pet in the romantic comedy You May Not Kiss the Bride (2010). Katharine McPhee, Dave Annable and Rob Schneider were also in the ensemble. The film was premiered at the Sonoma International Film Festival. The film was released in select theaters as well as on VOD. The film was mostly criticized. Blu-ray.com classified the film as "a noisy, insufferable distraction" that "depends on Suvari and Schneider for comedy work. It's as appealing as it is." Suvari also played an author with a insane stalker in No Surrender in 2011 and in Restitution in 2012. Suvari returned to American Pie when she played the character as Heather in American Reunion (2012). The plot revolved around the characters from the original film who are advancing in age and are preparing for the possibility of a reunion. The film was highly acclaimed by critics as a deliciously nostalgic and comfort food for fans of American Pie. With a global gross of more than US$235 million, American Reunion became Suvari's most watched film since 2001's American Pie 2. The film also marked her debut broad release in the decade of the decade of 2010. The prior films including The Knot (2012) and Don't Blink (2014) and The Opposite Sex (2015) were released in festival circuits or digital marketplaces.
