Missy Peregrym Bio

Missy was born in Montreal, Quebec. She spent most of her adult life in Surrey, British Columbia with her father (a minister) as well as her mother (a sister and two brothers). She began her career in front of cameras at the age of 18, when she started modeling. The print advertisements soon turned into commercials for Mercedes Benz, Sprint Canada and even the Olympics. Hollywood was shortly arriving on the scene. Her first guest appearance was on the action-drama series Dark Angel (2000), alongside Jessica Alba. Then she reprised the part of Julia on the critically-acclaimed cable series The Chris Isaak Show (2001). Her next audition brought her the role as Tory Stratton in Black Sash (2003). She also had leading roles in the television show Life as We Know It (2004) and Reaper (2007). Missy was the lead in Stick It (2006), an upcoming film that focused on gymnastics. In ABC's prime-time police show Rookie Blue (2010), she starred as Andy McNally (police officer). Missy is a dedicated soccer player. But, her current schedule means that she has to give up the sport at times. She is a snowboarder, as well as outdoor sports in the Vancouver mountains. She resides in Vancouver with her family.
