Rosario Isabel Dawson was born on May 9th 1979. [3] She is an American actress, producer , and director. Her first feature film came out in the 1995 drama Kids. Her subsequent roles include He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (2002). Dawson also voice-overs for Warner Bros./DC Comics as well as ViacomCBS Nickelodeon's Nickelodeon unit. In her role in Rent, Dawson was awarded the Satellite Award in Best Supporting Actress Motion Picture. And for Top Five, Dawson was nominated for the Critics Choice Award for Best actress in Comedy. Dawson was born May 9 1979, in New York City. Isabel Celeste is her mother and is of Afro-Cuban descent. Rosario was 16 at the time Isabel was born. Her mother, Isabel Celeste, never married Patrick C. Harris. When Rosario was only a year old, her mother got married to Greg Dawson, a construction worker. Dawson is four years younger than Clay. Clay is Dawson's half-brother. Dawson is also known for having several characters in comic book adaptations.These include Gail in Sin City (2005) and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple in five of the series by Marvel/Netflix (2015-2018), and acting as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince in the DC Animated Movie Universe and Space Jam: A New Legacy and Barbara Gordon/Batgirl from The Lego Batman Movie. In the year 2020, she played Ahsoka Tano in the second season of The Mandalorian, and is set to star in the coming Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She is also a regular role in the Dwayne Johnson autobiographical comedy series Young Rock in 2021.
