Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

 Kaitlyn Ann Vincie was born the 10th of December, 1987. She is an American journalist. She is a reporter for Fox NASCAR and hosts the daily news and updates show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie was first drawn to stock car racing when she was given a pit-lane entry. After graduation, she attended Christopher Newport University and worked as a reporter at Langley Speedway. Vincie gained attention when her self-made video blogs on NASCAR were released on stock car racing website SceneDaily. Vincie was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on December 10, 1987. Her family relocated to Warrenton when Vincie started high school. She is the daughter of John and Margaret Vincie, and she has one older sister. Vincie's maternal grandmother Eleanor N. Logan (a fifth-grade teacher) was her grandfather. He was part of Bridgewater's faculty. Journalism was something she had always been interested in since a young age. Vincie was a graduate of Fauquier High School, in 2006. She participated in the track and field, and also worked as a director for the school's wrestling team for four years. She won the 800m event in the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie met Al Pearce, a journalist who mentored and shared with Vincie many details. In 2010, she completed her degree at Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's degree in communications. Vincie worked as an intern in the athletics department of the university. Vincie also held a similar position for the USAR Pro Cup Series, Charlotte Motor Speedway. Vincie penned a senior thesis about the gender gap in auto racing that was specifically focused on Danica Patrick, a female race car driver. She became interested in racing after she received a pit lane pass to the NASCAR All-Star Race. She names Krista Voda and Wendy Venturini as her inspirations.
