Tracy Spiridakos
Tracy Spiridakos is a Canadian actor from Canada. She was a part of Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's series Majority Rules! From 2009 to 2010, she starred as Becky Richards in the Teletoon Children's Comedy series Majority Rules! She was then on the show as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson on the NBC post-apocalyptic science fiction show Revolution from 2012-2014, on which she was nominated for the Saturn Award for Best Actress on TV. She was Annika Johnson in the A&E television drama Bates Motel. Spiridakos played Detective Hailey Upton on the TV drama of A&E, Bates Motel. Spiridakos portrays Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba by George Spiridakos and Anastasia Spiridakos, Greek-born restaurant owners. Spiridakos has two brothers. Her family relocated to Skala in Greece situated south of Sparta, shortly after her birth. In 1992 they returned to Canada. She is strongly connected to her Greek heritage and can speak fluent Greek. Spiridakos started acting in junior high school. Later, she was a student at the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she graduated Oak Park High School. Spiridakos relocated to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting, and within a few weeks, she was offered her first television role in a small role on Supernatural. She continued working in the world of television, including walk-on roles in Bionic Woman, The L Word, Hellcats, and Psych. Spiridakos appeared in the TV movie Goblin as well as the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She also appeared on Being Human, as Brynn McLean who played the werewolf. In 2009, she received her first major role in Majority Rules! Canada, where she played 15-year old Becky Richards. Her debut feature film came in the year 2011 with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. In Kill for Me, she appeared alongside Katie Cassidy and Donal Logue. Spiridakos made an appearance as Sammi in the 2012 Nickelodeon original film, Rags. Then she was offered a leading role on the NBC television show Revolution as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson, a survivalist in a dystopian future civilization. She was a candidate for the role at the time of her pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos recorded the pilot in Atlanta and the initial season in Wilmington. Her performance on the initial season of the show nominated for an Saturn Award as Best Actress on Television. But, she fell to the Fringe's Anna Tov. Production relocated to Austin, Texas for the second season.
