Roselyn Milagros Sanchez Rodriguez (born on the 2nd of April, 1973) is a Puerto Rican singer/songwriter, dancer and model, as well as actor, producer and writer. On television, she is most well-known for her role as Elena Delgado on the CBS police procedural Without a Trace (2005-09), and on the show as Carmen Luna on the Lifetime comedy-drama Devious Maids (2013-16). In film, Sanchez has appeared in Rush Hour 2 (2001), Boat Trip (2002), The Game Plan (2007), and Act of Valor (2012). Sanchez was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico,[1and is the youngest of four siblings. She also has three brothers who are older. Her first schooling was in San Juan. She was a keen actor and dancer from the age of five and would perform shows with her family. Sanchez was enrolled at the University of Puerto Rico, where like her brothers and father she was to study marketing. After three years, she decided to quit the school. In 1991 she was 18, Sanchez was transferred to New York City, where she studied dance singing, acting, and acting. [3] She made her film debut in Puerto Rico in 1992, having a minor role in the film Captain Ron. an island girl in the film Captain Ron. This movie was partially filmed in Puerto Rico.
